Improved Documentation for Discontinued Goals
Learning Backpack now includes the ability to mark a goal as discontinued during the amendment process. When a goal is no longer needed, users can update the connected service information by ending the service line, select Mark Goal as Discontinued within the appropriate PLAAFP, and enter the date and the reason for discontinuing the goal. Once the amendment is made active, the goal will appear as discontinued on the progress report, along with the date and the reason entered. This enhancement helps teams clearly document goal changes and maintain accurate IEP records.
